Dating back to the late 1870s when Thomas Wardle provided Liberty with its first-ever printed fabrics, Etched Bloom honours the beginning of the design house's textile journey. Discovered in the renowned Liberty archive, the artwork has been meticulously reassembled and redrawn by the London design studio. Inspired by Indian wood blocks with a quintessentially Liberty Art Nouveau feel, this outlined floral is in constant flux, creating a mesmerising canvas of bold, stylised blooms amidst swirling foliage. Expertly printed in Italy onto a linen base with a heavy drape and soft tumbled finish. Etched Bloom can be seen here in the Ink colourway.
